Slick Hobbies Forums

We're building this community from scratch but we've opened the doors on our forums with some basic categories to kick off the beginning of our site. The forums will be a great place for this community to get together to ask questions, help others, and just rant and rave about new products and resources in the hobby world.

As time goes on we'll fine tune this community and make it easier to navigate and more fun to visit often. Feel free to post topics with your ideas or concerning bugs in our site. Although the site is still being worked on there may be some things that will get overlooked.

Not only do we have our forums but also we are creating a place where model clubs, teams, and other groups can get together as a whole.

Slick Hobbies Groups is where your club or team can discuss upcoming events and other team issues without the publicity of the public forums. Create a group for your club or team or any other hobby organization to attract more members and visitors.

Slick Hobbies Blogs

These articles will be up front and personal information about personal experiences with companies and their products. From customer service to ease of use and product comparisons, we hope to be of assistance in helping you select and learn more about your interests in new products and services.

Slick Hobbies Wiki

Just like any other Wiki sites, we are going to be allowing our users familiar with writing Wiki Articles to add their comments and personal experiences to this site. From Customer Reviews to Tips and Tricks, we hope this will be a good way for the community to learn even more about the pros and cons of the hobbies they are most interested in.

Slick Hobbies News

As new and interesting hobbies are released to the public and as soon as we hear about them we will be displaying articles to our community to inform and enlighten. These articles will be mainly to inform our readers but these new products (if available from us) available from us will have links to our online ordering sections where you can learn more about the pricing and availability.

Slick Hobbies Auctions

A new feature we've decided to include in our community is our auction section. Similar to other auction sites but with added features, our auction section will allow our members to buy, sell, and trade hobbies they don't want anymore. Members will have the option of listing items for sale either in a listing format or in a store format. The basic services in this section are free to all of our members, other listing and store options require a minimal charge.

Order Online

Our web pressence also allows us to offer Online Ordering from one of our distributors. Just click the "Order Online" tab on the navigation bar which will allow you to browse categories and find just about everything you need. If there is something you don't see then contact us and we will do our best to find what you want.

Slick Hobbies Shop

Although it is not yet available, we are planning to also offer all of the items for sale in our local Burnside, Ky store. This future resource will allow our local customers to see what we have In-Stock and also place orders for items we don't. Of course everyone is welcome to use this service, all in-store items and orders will be able to be shipped to you if you prefer.

While we do our best to inform our visitors of security risks, not all concerns can be controlled by us. Our system is designed to only send emails to "Registered" users in the form of notices and newsletters. If you are not a member of our community and you recieve an email regarding our web site in any way, please notify us so we may take the appropriate actions to ensure member and non-member security. There are many ways to submit your feedback to us and we hope that everyone who visits us has good things to say. Of course that isn't always the case and we are determined to rectify any situations that arise as long as we are able to do so.

We are very interested in bringing to the community the most up to date and correct information possible. Though we do make mistakes, we will correct ourselves immediatly if given the opportunity. Some errors include misspellings, missleadings, or even incorrect pricing. We do not intentionally make these errors but we do correct them when brought to our attention.
